There are a lot of iron ores in nature, which contain a lot of hematite or magnetite. So what kind of equipment does a mature iron ore beneficiation line need?
The beneficiation method of iron ore is mainly magnetic separation and flotation, so the main iron ore equipment used includes flotation machine, magnetic separator, high-efficiency thickener, press filter, slurry pump, feeder, stirring tank, belt conveyor etc.
specific method:
1. Large pieces of iron ore for primary crushing are sent to the jaw crusher by the apron feeder. After the primary crushing, the material is conveyed by the belt conveyor to the cone crusher for secondary crushing; the crushed iron ore will be transferred to the vibrating screen for classification. After grading, the part below the mesh size is transferred away as the final product, and the rest is returned to the cone crusher to form a closed loop. The dimensions of the final product can be combined and graded according to your specific requirements.
2. Then send the crushed smaller iron ore into the ball mill for grinding. Inside the ball mill, the crushed iron ore is ground to about 0.2 mm with 3-inch steel balls.
3. Pump the iron ore slurry into the mixing tank. This iron ore slurry is finally pumped to flotation machines, while the fine sulphide ore will go to froth flotation cells to recover iron.
4. In the magnetite concentrator, the flotation process is replaced by magnetic separation. The minerals are transported to the permanent magnet dehydration tank for concentrate, and then the concentrate enters the permanent magnet drum for secondary magnetic separation. The filtered and dried concentrate is transported to the warehouse for storage.
